Once you've signed up, you can use any client compatible with the OSCAR protocol. For the retro experience, this includes running the original AIM client. For a more modern client, Pidgin supported the protocol via a plugin until version 2.14.2.
Connect via your username and password to aim.adamsaunders.net on port 5190.
